I speak to groups who are looking for a parent’s viewpoint on Autism, ie. with teachers, daycares, therapists, doctors, etc.
My aim is to expand people’s knowledge of Autism and the impact it has on families. So many professionals are on-hand to support children with Autism, but sometimes it can be helpful for professionals to gain a glimpse of what it’s like to really live the experience. My goal is to support professionals to better empathize with parents regarding the volume of information, challenging decisions and tough emotions.
My talks are customized to each audience in order to meet the requested interests of each group. I am available to speak to small or large groups at team meetings, staff retreats/workshops, lunch and learns, conferences and public events.
